"The Buzz" for the Boy Scouts of America

One of the bi-monthly Buzz segments I edit for the Boy Scouts of America, compiling a variety of video formats, stills and graphic elements into each episode. These are sent to employees across America to inform them of new merit badge programs, opportunities at camps, conferences and how to enhance the scouting experience. Marianne Elden is Producer and presents an interesting topic and special guest for each episode. This one focuses on the Boy Scouts involvement in Indy car racing.

Fuddruckers Fresh Baked Buns

This :60 spot features the new time-lapse capabilities of GMAN Creative. I am the voice over and produced the music and audio mix as well. The spot was shot and edited by GMAN Creative in HD. There is a :30 second TV version also. Can't you just smell those fresh baked buns?

Super Bowl Party

I was part of a video crew for Capital A Entertainment and along with Tom Fiorini and Andrew Flood we covered the "Sports Illustrated, Black Eyed Peas Night B4 Party" for Super Bowl XVL. Maria Arita was our host for the event at Fair Park in Dallas, TX. The star studded affair lasted until 4am and in spite of the cold weather, the party was rated one of the best! I did location sound and edited the three and a half hours of footage into the promo piece above, and a one minute version as well.

University Medical Center "Heart" TV

A dramatic spot focusing on the UMC's Trauma Center and exceptional heart care.  I recorded the location sound and replaced the original dialogue, built the environment sound effects from scratch and produced the final audio mix. It won Best of Show in the local advertising awards competition

Lubbock Christian University NCAA Division II Video

Once again in collaboration with the very talented Gary Bain of GMAN Creative, this video was produced for Lubbock Christian University to announce its admission into the NCAA. Gary shot and edited the video while I provided music, that smooth voice over and did the final audio mix with nat sound effects.

Dallas to Dalhart :30 TV

This spot features stunning time-lapse photography by Phillip Thomas and footage from several United Supermarket shoots, re-purposed into a montage image spot. I provided the music  and voice over, and did the final mix.

Forever Blue - Lubbock Christian University

Gary Bain of Gman Creative shot and edited this video that went on tour with the Alumni Association to cities in Texas. I provided the narration and music and sent the final mix.

Red Hot Summer Rewards TV

For this motion graphics spot, I created the sound design and with a cut from my extensive music library...a very
Beach Boys-like feel for United's Red Hot Summer Rewards Promotion. AND...I also did the voice over!

Harvest of Hope 2011 Video

This video was shot and edited by Gary Bain and produced by Vangelia Perryman for the South Plains Food Bank fundraiser at the Lubbock Civic Center. I produced the music track, provided the narration and the final audio mix.

Riding for the Brand-Corporate Video for United Supermarkets

Produced for a management leadership conference for United Supermarkets, this video is a Western-themed opening for a 2 day event in Frisco, Texas. Shot on a ranch just outside of Dickens, Texas the wind played havoc with my location sound and so I had to re-create most of it in the studio. I also edited the vocal, the music and did the mix to video. The piece was shot and edited by Gary Bain of GMAN Creative in Lubbock.

Bottle Rocket Short Film

This is the last few shots and end credits of the classic Bottle Rocket short film that launched the careers of Wes Anderson (Director) and Owen and Luke Wilson as lead actors. I was on the crew as location audio and sound design. The film was shown at the Sundance Film Festival and well, the rest is history! 

Built to Serve...The Story of United Supermarkets

This is the opening segment of an hour-long film documenting the history of Lubbock-based United Supermarkets.
This project was shot & edited over a year-long journey that included stops in Provo, Utah...Skaneateles...New York,
plus Dallas and most of West Texas. I recorded all the location sound and supervised the final audio/score mix with David Kneupper who created the original score. I was also the Final Cut editor of the finished film from a rough cut
by Gary Bain of Gman Creative. The film debuted at the Angelika Theatre in Frisco, Texas and was shown to all the
10,000 employees of United in special venues across West Texas.

Discovery Aisle Summer Game Campaign

Shot on a soundstage at MPS Studios in Dallas, this spot is part of a TV/Radio/Long Form Video project. Using an original score from David Kneupper of Los Angeles, I created the sound design using dozens of sound effects from my effects library. Location sound and the final audio mix were also my contributions.

University Medical Center TV Campaign

Two of the testimonial-based spots from a campaign of television, in which I handled location and post audio, and radio I produced to compliment each, with music VO and final mix. 

Foreman's Choice TV

This spot was shot on location at Clayton Williams Happy Cove Ranch in Alpine, Texas. I did all the location recording during the shoot and added new sound effects and audio replacement during the final mix. The music score is from my extensive library.
